We are seeking a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to conduct comprehensive Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580-1:2019. The role involves site inspections, water system evaluations, and reporting on compliance risks to ensure clients maintain safe and legally compliant environments.

Core Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed risk assessments of domestic, commercial and industrial water systems
- Identify potential Legionella hazards and control measures

- Take temperature readings and water samples and perform microbial analysis
- Ensure all assessments comply with ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580-1 guidelines

Plumbing & remedial works

Core Responsibilities
Water treatment & system maintenance
- Conduct chemical testing and analysis of closed-loop systems
- Perform pre-commissioning cleaning, system flushing, flow rate monitoring and chemical dosing
- Carry out corrosion and scale prevention treatments
- Inspect pressurisation units, expansion vessels and dosing systems
- Identify and resolve issues related to water quality, contamination or system inefficiencies
Water sampling & analysis
- Collect water samples for laboratory analysis of corrosion, bacteria, and scale
- Interpret test results and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor system parameters and adjust treatment programmes accordingly
Compliance & reporting
- Ensure work complies with BS 8552, BSRIA BG 29/2021, and BSRIA BG 50/2021 guidelines
